Spelling Words

For the rest of the year, we will be practicing spelling words in class and focusing on alphabetizing skills. There is no more HW this year. 

Bio

I am your child's second grade teacher! This is my first year at CES, but this is my 8th year teaching. I recently moved to the area from Virginia. I received my Bachelors from Lynchburg College and my Masters from Mary Baldwin University. I am looking forward to a great year working together!

Reminders

Please check the behavior chart that is in their folder. They will color their chart with the following colors:

Green - Great job!

Yellow - Warning!

Orange - Loss of 5 minutes of recess

Purple - Loss of 10 minutes of recess

Red - Loss of all recess and any necessary punishment from the principal

Bulldog Folders come home on Wednesday. Please check the folder, sign the back each week and return it to school on Thursday.

Toys should stay at home. They could get broken, lost, or stolen at school.
