Meet the Teacher
This will be my 14th year to teach!
I have taught 1st -5th grade over the years and I will be teaching 1st grade for the 3rd year in the 2024-25 school year. This will be my fifth year at Cowan Elementary, and I am so excited to be here! I grew up in Franklin County and am happy to be teaching here as well.
I received my B.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Ed.) K-6 from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011 and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in 2015.
I am married to my husband Colton, and we have 2 daughters, Kyndall and Rylin. We stay busy doing sports and things outdoors with our family.
