BIO

Hey there! My name is Erica Thompson, and I am starting my 5th year in education and 4th year as a school counselor! My husband and I have two children, Zoe and Lincoln and Daisy, our golden retriever. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from University of West Florida in 2016 and my master's from Arkansas State University in School Counseling K-12 in 2024. I am so excited to be at Cowan and can’t wait to meet everyone! Go Bulldogs!

Every CES student participates in lessons monthly which are designed to help students develop and utilize skills needed to be successful in life. To see what skills or topic we are discussing this month, check out my lesson plans at the link below! Referrals may be made for students to receive individual short-term (4-6 sessions) counseling or small groups. If your student has been selected for a small group, I will reach out to you!
